Privacy Policy

SIUU Studio (the "Service") is owned and operated by SIUU Labs ("SIUU Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how SIUU Studio collects, uses, and discloses information about you in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information when you use our platform:

• Identifiers: Name, alias, IP address, and email address (if provided during account creation).
• Age Information: Your birthday (day, month, and year), which every account is required to provide once. See Section 7.
• Commercial Information: Projects created, tools utilized, and user engagement metrics.
• Internet or Network Activity: Browsing history, search history within the app, and interactions with our AI models.
• Sensitive Personal Information: We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless explicitly provided by you in your video prompts or text inputs.

2. Usage and Sharing of Information

We use your data primarily to provide, personalize, and improve our AI creation tools. SIUU Studio does not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information with authorized service providers necessary to operate the platform, under strict confidentiality agreements.

3. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Under California law, consumers have specific rights regarding their personal information:

• Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months.
• Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Right to Opt-Out: While we do not sell your data, you have the right to opt-out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will not be denied goods or services or charged different prices.

5. Accessibility

This Privacy Policy is designed to be easily readable and accessible. We review and update this policy at least annually. If you are a user with a disability and require this policy in an alternative format, please contact us at [email protected].

6. AI Technology & Transparency (AB 2013 / SB 942)

SIUU Studio's AI features are powered by the Groq AI API. We have not fine-tuned, retrained, or substantially modified the underlying base model. All AI behavior is guided by proprietary system instructions designed to optimize content strategy for creators. SIUU Studio is the deploying provider of this AI tool, not the developer of the underlying model. When a member of a team asks the AI Coach about a connected YouTube channel, a summary of that channel's analytics is sent to the AI provider to answer that question, as described in Section 8.

SIUU Studio does not collect neural data, biometric data, or any data generated by the brain or nervous system, as defined under California's 2026 CCPA updates. All AI-generated content produced by our tools is intended as creative suggestions only. Users remain fully responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI output before publishing or distributing it.

7. Age Requirement & Birthday Collection (13+)

You must be at least 13 years old to use SIUU Studio. To enforce this, every account, including accounts created with Google sign-in and accounts created before this requirement was introduced, must enter a birthday (day, month, and year) the first time the user opens the Service after the age check is turned on. The Service cannot be used until a birthday has been entered.

• What we collect: Your date of birth only. We use it to confirm that you meet the minimum age and to comply with applicable law. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
• How it is stored: Your birthday is kept in a separate, access-restricted database table and is not part of your regular profile. It is never shown to other users, and we do not sell or share it.
• You cannot change it yourself: A birthday can be entered only once. If you made a mistake, contact [email protected] and an authorized staff member can review and correct it.
• Staff corrections are logged: Only SIUU Studio administrators and moderators can view or correct a birthday. A written reason is required for every correction, and each change is recorded in a change log (the previous birthday, the new birthday, the staff member who made the change, the reason, and the time). Moderators cannot change the birthday of a staff member, and no staff member can change their own.
• Under 13: If the birthday on an account shows that the person is under 13, we block access to the Service. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use SIUU Studio. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we will restrict it and delete the personal information we hold about the child as required by law. Parents or guardians can contact us at [email protected].
• Retention: We keep your birthday and its change log for as long as your account exists, and delete them when your account is deleted.

8. YouTube Data & Google API Services

SIUU Studio Teams lets a team owner or editor connect a YouTube channel so the team can see that channel's analytics. This connection is optional and happens only when an owner or editor chooses "Connect YouTube" and approves access on Google's own consent screen.

• Read-only access: We ask for two read-only Google permissions: youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly. SIUU Studio cannot upload, edit, delete, or otherwise change anything on your channel.
• What we read: Your channel ID, channel name, profile picture, public description, and country and creation date; subscriber, view, and video counts; video titles, thumbnails, and links, plus view, like, and comment counts for your most recent uploads; and analytics for the channel such as views, watch time, average view duration, subscribers gained and lost, likes, comments, shares, top videos, and traffic sources. YouTube also provides aggregated audience information for the channel (top countries and the percentage of viewers by age group and gender). We do not receive information about individual viewers.
• How we use it: To show those numbers to the members of the team the channel is connected to, inside the Teams Analytics tab, and, when a team member asks the AI Coach about the channel, to help the Coach answer that question (see "AI Coach" below). We do not use YouTube data for advertising, profiling, or credit or lending decisions.
• What we store: The channel ID, name, and picture, plus an encrypted access token that lets us refresh the analytics. The token is kept in a server-only database table that browsers cannot read. Analytics numbers are fetched from Google when you open the tab and are cached for up to 10 minutes; we do not keep a permanent copy of them.
• Who can see it: Members of the team the channel is connected to can view its analytics. Only team owners and editors can connect or disconnect a channel. We do not sell YouTube data or share it with third parties, other than service providers that host SIUU Studio (Cloudflare for hosting and Supabase for our database) and the AI provider that runs the AI Coach (see "AI Coach" below), and only to run the Service.
• AI Coach: The AI Coach is the only feature that sends YouTube data to an AI model. When a member of the connected team asks the Coach about the channel's performance, the Coach can read a short text summary of that channel's analytics, drawn from the items listed under "What we read" above (never your access token). We send that summary to the AI provider that runs the Coach (see Section 6) only to generate the reply to that request. We do not send it in the background or in bulk, and the Coach cannot change anything on your channel. The Coach's reply may repeat some of those numbers; like every Coach message, it is saved in that chat's history in your project, and later messages in the same chat may include it as context. We do not use YouTube data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and we do not send it to any AI provider for that purpose.
• Google API Services User Data Policy: SIUU Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• YouTube terms: By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
• Disconnecting and deleting: A team owner or editor can choose "Disconnect" in the Analytics tab at any time. This asks Google to revoke the access and deletes the stored token and channel details from our database. Past AI Coach messages that already mention your numbers stay in that chat's history; email us if you would like them removed.
